Interview with Ben

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Ben: When I was in Lubbock Co Jail, there was two different wings; one for more serious crimes and the other for more minor crimes, well thats what my understanding was. The wing I was in was for more minor crimes and had I think 4 or 5 floors to it with 3 or 4 cells that had 12-24 men per cell.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Ben: A-Block, B-Block, and C-Block etc; if I remember correctly.

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Ben: The wing I was in was for more minor crimes, the other wing which included ex: F2-F3 etc., housed more serious offenders.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Ben: WORST PART, was the food Im a big dude and the food was bearly any and not very good. The best part was when I got visitaion even though it was only for 30 mins.
