Interview with Ben
JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates? Please give examples to explain why you did or didn't.
Ben: Im an easy guy to get along with plus Im big so
that made it fairly easy for me to get along
with other inmates in pretty much every
situation I was in.
JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Ben: I had a few problems with TV situations when
people had too loud or kept changing the channel
when I watching something. I used words to try
to negotiate the situation but never got into
any serious or physical confortations.
JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change?
Ben: No, when I had entered the cell, I had to pretty
much take the only empty bunk.
